She cited the example of Thomas Alva Edison and David Shrew who gave an opportunity to kindle the creativity in each person. She stressed the importance of developing the non-cognitive areas which builds up leadership qualities, soft skills, innovative thinking and creativity apart from the three Rs to face the challenges of the 21st century. To build a child’s personality emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually, communicative competency is required which can be achieved through dance, drama, and theatre, she added.
