Sports Day
The much awaited Annual sports day of National Hill View Public School was held on 7th December 2019 with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The sports meet opened with releasing colorful balloons followed along with the scouts and guides followed by flag hoisting. An oath was administered to students to participate in the sports day with true sportsman spirit. The displays like athletes, sack race, skipping concluded with spectacular yoga display by children. Each event was followed by distribution of prizes to the winners of respective races.
Principal Mrs. Shobhana Prabhakaran inspired the students to take part in sports to showcase their talents. “Sound mind in a sound body” improves skills in all aspects she added.
Trustee secretary Mr. Venkatappa in his speech encouraged the students to have a positive spirit in sports. Quoting his personal experience. Chief Guest Mr. Uttam Shetty, national level kabbadi player quoted that sports is a part of life where success does not have any failure but it comes with hard work.
Trustee secretary of schools Ms. DKS Aisshwarya emphasized that with combined efforts of parents and teachers we can bring out the hidden talents in the child. She thanked the parents for their continuous support and encouragement which had made it possible for the school to hold such events to bring the best in the children. The programmer concluded with the distribution of best trophy awarded to the Shraddha house.
