January 26, 2017- The 68th Republic day of India.
India has been celebrating January 26 as the date when it elevated itself from an independent nation to a modern republic, strengthened in all its glory by a fully functioning constitution.
The festival was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm. A beautifully decorated pandal was erected to mark the birth of Lord Krishna followed by an arati and puja where all the children and teachers participated and sang bhajans.
The children of playgroup 1 were divided into groups representing different means of transport like roadways, railways, waterways and airways. They sang rhymes and spoke a few lines on the mode of transport they represented.
Children’s day (also known as Bal Divas) in India is celebrated every year on 14th of November to increase the awareness of people towards the rights, care and education of children.
