The School is a forerunner to a group of institutions established by the National Education Foundation (NEF), a trust comprising a group of young, highly resourceful individuals, dedicated to the cause of quality education under the dynamic chairmanship of Mr. D K Shivakumar.
The School is headed by Mrs. Shobhana Prabhakaran whose immense teaching experience has played a pivotal role in empowering her as a teacher, and has rendered clarity on academia. She’s trusted for her views on holistic development interlaced with innovative approach in strengthening the learning activity.

Greetings to all!
Having been a co-founder and part of the core Management Team of National Education Foundation for nearly two decades now, I have seen the progress made by NHVPS, Rajarajeshwari Nagar from its beginning stage and it fills my heart with pride. This school is the first and flagship enterprise of NEF. I have been greatly instrumental in acquiring land for this educational project. With my engineering qualification background, I have been able to strategise the set-up of the majestic infrastructure for the school. Our aim is to provide the right ambience for the complete personality development of the students. The School has praiseworthy system of administration.
Recently in 2013, NEF has expanded its educational activity in the form of second Unit of the School at Banashankari which also runs with flawless system of administration.
The infrastructure provided by us at both the Units of NHVPS ranks among the best. The facilities provided in terms of classrooms and sports ensure that the students are given excellent training. We give equal emphasis both on academics and extra-curricular activities to ensure the holistic development of the students. Our entire team works to achieve this goal. I am humbled by the trust and confidence that the teachers and students have bestowed upon us.
It is my privilege to be a part of this triumphant journey where we continue to pave the way for all round development of the students.

As a co-founder and part of the core Management Team of National Education Foundation for nearly two decades now, I take immense pride in the progress made by NHVPS, Rajarajeshwari Nagar. This School has been the first and flagship venture of NEF. I have seen the development of the School from its nascent stage to the present status. Originally the place was a hilly terrain. I have contributed my time and energy in converting the terrain into lush green educational campus by planting more than 10000 plants and trees of different varieties. Our aim is to provide salubrious climate and serene atmosphere for the holistic development of the students. The landscape provided by us has been greatly appreciated by all who visit our campus. We have also implemented an impeccable system of administration for the School.
Recently in 2013, NEF has added another feather to its cap in the form of second Unit of the School at Banashankari which also runs with flawless system of administration.
Both the Units of NHVPS have been in the forefront in shaping the young minds and conferring a strong personality to face the challenges of the world. Broadening the vision of students is regarded as priority rather than blindly following curriculum. Each child is special to us. Our entire team is groomed to take care of the needs of every child. I am overwhelmed by the trust and confidence that the teachers and students have bestowed upon us.
We are glad to note that the past students from our older Unit at Rajarajeshwari Nagar have made great mark in life. I am honoured and inspired to be a part of this successful journey where our efforts pave the way for all round development of the students.

Dear Parents,
Representing National Hill View Public School (NHVPS), on behalf of the National Education Foundation is an honor. I humbly accept this responsibility on behalf of team NHVPS to realize our school’s vision.

To describe the humanistic approach to education at NHVPS, I resonate with research on Daisaku Ikeda’s philosophical dialogues on education by Nai-Cheng Kuo (Augusta University, USA).
A focus on humanity is crucial to help students create new knowledge that benefits society as a whole. Unfortunately, today’s education mainly focuses on specialization and overlooks the importance of a sense of humanity (Singh & Ikeda, 1988). Focusing solely on ransmission of knowledge not only makes it difficult for students to see the totality of humanity but also leads to prejudice and indifference (Swaminathan & Ikeda, 2005). Ikeda and his interlocutors suggest that education should incorporate dialogue activities in the curriculum to promote mutual understanding, maximize students’ learning opportunities in humanities, and make society more humane and caring (Peccei & Ikeda, 2009; Wickramasinghe & Ikeda, 1998; Wider & Ikeda, 2014)
Raising humanistic leaders and the lifelong Happiness of every child is my life’s purpose, and it is not an easy task. However, with team NHVPS explicitly getting trained in the Humanistic approach to education, we are committed to bringing a new dimension to the education system experienced in high schools across India.
Having accomplished the first step of onboarding the best team of teachers, we promise the best in Education philosophy to nurture Humanistic leaders who embrace diversity in a technology-driven future; augmented reality, virtual reality, disruptions, and design thinking will be part of their learning process. Resilience, courage, wisdom, compassion, constructive conflict management, a growth mindset and future-ready skills will set your child apart growing at NHVPS.
