National Hill View Public School Unit II (June 2013) is a forerunner to a group of institutions established by the National Education Foundation, a trust comprising a group of highly resourceful individuals, dedicated to the cause of quality education under the dynamic chairmanship of Mr.D.K.Shivakumar.

The school is headed by Mrs.Shobhana Prabhakaran, who has years of quality experience and exposure in working with different methods of education.

National Hill View Public School Unit II gives utmost importance to activity based methods and encourages each student to participate in the many activities it offers such as sports (Indoor/ Outdoor), music, drama, theatre and debate amongst others.

SAFETY MEASURES

To reinforce the safety in the school, the following measures have been adopted:

  • CCTVs will be installed in the school campus to monitor the movement of students and visitors.
  • Constant interactions on safety and security aspects are held with the concerned authorities on a regular basis.
  • The antecedents of all staff have been checked and verified and details will be submitted to the nearest police station.
  • Children are escorted at all times and never left unattended on the school campus or on school trips.
  • As it is a collective responsibility of the school and parents to ensure the safety of the children, parents are requested not to encourage friends and relatives to pick up the children. If any need arises, an authorization letter along with the photograph to be given by parents and handed over to the school office.
  • At all times, parents to only communicate through the school calendar.
  • Bus ID cards will be issued.
  • Attendance in buses will be marked and checked both in the morning and in the evening. A lady attender and helper are always present in the bus from starting point to the last drop point.
  • Drivers and cleaners have strictly been instructed from using mobile phones to ensure road safety measures.
  • Issues pertaining to transport, parents can contact reception at 65703991/65703992.
  • If no authorized person is found at the drop point, the children will be brought back to school.
  • If the bus is delayed by about 5 to 10 minutes due to unforeseen circumstances, eg, traffic jam, the parents are requested to patiently wait at the stop.
  • Parents are requested not to communicate directly with drivers, cleaners, or attendants or send money through them.
  • Most of the above measures are already mentioned in the school calendar and parents are requested to refer to the same.
  • Parents requiring clarification on urgent matters can meet the Principal by prior appointment.
  • Security has been recruited from a reputed agency by the management.
  • Children have been enlightened on preventive measures like not speaking to strangers, provocative advances, and being trained to be independent. The students are free to bring in their views which will be addressed. Changes in behavioral pattern of the students if noticed by teachers will be reported to the Principal to take necessary action.

Any deviation from the expected standards of discipline, decorum and behaviour is viewed seriously and appropriate corrective action taken. All students and faculty, alike, are expected to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
